I’m not usually a chocolate lover, but I must say, the chocolate cupcake at Kara’s was absolutely delicious. I also tried the vegan chocolate cupcake, and that was really good too! I love that they have vegan and gluten-free options so inclusive. I even tried the banana cupcake, but once you taste that chocolate one, you just can’t go back.

I entered the bakery and was immediately impressed with the full assortment of cupcakes brightly topped with Spring/Easter decorations. I asked what the best sellers were and the server rattled them off quickly. Almost too quickly for me to comprehend. Her overall customer service was lacking. No smile. Almost annoyed with me. Even so, I bought 4 cupcakes. The Lemon Meyer, Carrot and Fleur de Sel were delicious. The cake had good texture, full of flavor and fairly moist. The star was the frosting. Soooo smooth but may be too sweet for some. If your occasion requires cupcakes, you’ll find good ones here.

I love a good cupcake and prefer one that is gluten-free. I tried Sprinkles and the Sweet Diplomacy but I will say Kara’s cupcakes are on another level. The cake is perfect whether it’s gluten free or not, it’s not too oily and yet still moist and fluffy. The frosting is silky smooth and not too sweet. Every bite of their cupcakes is pure bliss.

What sets Kara’s Cupcakes apart is their outstanding variety of fruity flavors in addition to traditional ones. From the tropical passion fruit to the decadent banana-caramel or banana, the cakes are consistently moist and the flavors are incredibly vibrant. Paired with their signature smooth and creamy frosting, these cupcakes are a favorite for my whole family. A must-visit at Town & Country Village!

Kara's cupcakes is a boutique bakery that offers cupcakes and cakes that are baked with nuts and nut products. It is not a nut free bakery. They can accommodate different dietary restrictions. They offer gluten-free and vegan cupcakes as well. One thing to note is that their vegan cupcakes are not gluten-free, and their gluten-free cupcakes are not vegan. You can find all their cupcake flavors in regular size and mini size. The store was pretty empty when we went there, and they had run out of some of the flavors in the mini size. I tried 4 different mini cupcakes - 2 fruity flavors and 2 non fruity. The 2 fruity flavors I got were banana and passion fruit. I couldn't taste the passion fruit at all, and the banana one had a hint of banana flavor. The cupcakes had a dry texture, and they weren't moist at all. The icing on top was liquidy and oily. The 2 non fruity flavors that I tried were red velvet and fluer de sel. Fleur de sel was probably the best of all despite it being only decent. The cupcakes were a bit pricy for their taste. The person at the counter was also not the most helpful person. They were out of a lot of flavors, but instead of notifying us about that, she wait
